In conjunction with the WESTERN EXHIBIT held in the Gallery of the International Museum Of Art August 3-31, the SUNSET FILM SOCIETY has programmed 2 noteworthy Western movies on August 18th and 25th. A reception will be held on Sunday, August 5th from 2-4pm. 

 (Buena Vista: 1993) -130 minutes- Color 

The film is based on events in Tombstone, Arizona, including the Gunfight at the O.K. Corral, and outlaws and lawmen such as Wyatt Earp, William Brocius, Johnny Ringo, and Doc Holliday. Wyatt Earp (Russell) attempts to leave his violent days behind moving to Tombstone with his two brothers, but the violent gang know as "The Cowboys", whose members include the Clintons, dictates otherwise. Narrated by Robert Mitchum. Directed by George P. Cosmatos. 

Starring: Kurt Russell, Dana Delany, Val Kilmer, Sam Elliott, Charlton Heston.
