Nominated for 8 Oscars, winning 6. A World War II veteran Jerry Mulligan (Gene Kelly) is now an exuberant expatriate in Paris trying to make a reputation as a painter, where he meets Lise Bouvie (Leslie Caron). Directed by Vincente Minnelli. Written by Alan Jay Lerner. Music by George and Ira Gershwin.
